Search Engine Optimization SEO - Getting Better Rankings
So now you have got your web site designed exactly the way you want your customers to see it, but how do you get it to come up in the search engines? Well how to do search engine optimization or SEO is the million dollar question. Please read this article for further information.

These searches will land us anywhere from the number one result, to pages 1-4. Not too bad. considering "expert web design" has almost 60,000,000 returns, and we are on the first page on MSN and page five on Google (as of March 08).

Remember this, there is NO substitute for good marketing. You would not try to build a house without the proper tools, and a website is just one tool in a good marketing plan when building a successful business. And while you will will rank higher with a decent SEO plan, do not neglect all the other ways you can get your name out there. Passing out business cards is an excellent low-cost way to get your name in front of people. So is direct mail and even advertising in a publication of some sort. From there you could even move up to radio and television advertisements, all of which, if done correctly, will grow your business.
